Marina received a B.A. in Psychology & Sociology at the University of Michigan Ann Arbor. She has been in the west for over 25 years. After 14 years of moving all over the west as a wildland firefighter, she and her family moved to beautiful McCall, ID in 2011. Marina become a Massage Therapist in 2008, and enjoys studying a wide variety of massage techniques. Marina received her 200-hour yoga certification from David Garrigues in 2009.
In 2016 Marina’s sister-in-law, a chiropractor, was struggling to heal a shoulder injury. After trying multiple chiropractors and doctors, she was referred to Bowen therapy by her neurologist. She received immediate relief from her pain, which lasted 8 months. She called Marina and emphatically said “You have GOT to do this!”.
Marina began her practice in McCall in 2011. She started Bodywork by Marina to bring new techniques to McCall and share the benefits of nerve restoration therapy. When she is not doing Bowen therapy, you can find her outside enjoying the beauty of the McCall area. She enjoys Nordic and Alpine skiing, biking to Payette Lake, and hiking the trails.
